The Bushmen released records on the following labels:

1. Shurfine Records - Atlanta (Independent)

2. Smash Records - Mercury Subsidiary (National)

3. SSS International - New York/Nashville Label (owned by Shelby Singleton)

4. CGC Records - New York (Independent) This was Bob Crewe's label (Also Producer of the "4 Seasons")

Total recording output - four singles by the Original Bushmen:

1. "Sugaree" / "So In Love" as the Revelons on Shurfine Records.

2. "Friends and Lovers Forever" / "You've Been With Him" as the Bushmen on Smash Records,

3. " You're The Girl" / "St. James Infirmary" on SSS International,

4. "Love" / "Too Many Rivers" on CGC Records.

 

The reformed Bushmen have recorded four CD's. Info on them is coming soon, hopefully.

The band's record releases never became more than regional hits (Southeast and Southwest USA). Althought they never achieved national or international recording success in the Sixties, they had much regional success in concerts and shows. They also helped to influence the next generation of musicians who came into contact with them over the years. Some of the artists who have said they were fans and learned from the group are Lynyrd Skynyrd, .38 Special and Mickey Thomas of Jefferson Airplane.
